Valley Citizen

Brad Vasseur

It's time that the news sources of the valley give a different Kathy some much deserved accolades. The Kathy I speak of understands what it takes to govern effectively. She also understands the difficulties that have presented themselves as the economy in the valley went in the tank two years ago. Shrinking revenues and fiscal crises can't always be left to correct themselves, no matter how many tea party gatherings are held. The Laissez-Faire policies of the "roaring" twenties and the resulting Depression teach us that.

Of course the Kathy I speak of is County Commissioner Kathy Rinaldi. In the last two years, Commission Rinaldi has worked tireless hours to ensure that Teton County has the services its great citizens deserve. All the while doing the noblest of duties as a loving mother. As a father, I take comfort in knowing a fellow parent has a chair and voice in shaping the future of the schools my daughter attends, the Health care facilities which tends to her bumps and bruises, and the roads and bridges we travel on. I would encourage everyone to vote in the Democratic primary on May 25th and allow Kathy Rinaldi to continue the work she began two years ago. Let's keep the momentum going and keep Teton County moving forward.
